Joshua Styles - Project Coordinator
Drawing on his life-long interest in plants, Josh started NWRPI in 2017, after graduating with a first in BSc Ecology from Edge Hill University. Since then, he has continued in academia, and is currently studying for an MSc in Biological Recording and Ecological Monitoring at Manchester Metropolitan University, as well as working as a full-time ecologist, and finding the time to cultivate and conserve
North West England’s rarest plant species.
Josh is a driven ecologist with a background in botany and conservation, whose wealth of experience in the environmental sector includes species surveying/monitoring, training, research and practical conservation, all of which has contributed to the partnerships NWRPI has forged with individuals and organisations including Chester Zoo, Cheshire Wildlife Trust, Lancashire Wildlife Trust, and the Wild Flower Society.
